The Parrot Pub, Forest Green. Beautiful village pub set deep in the heart of the Surrey Hills, surrounded by beautiful walking country - the perfect place to finish a walk with one of their delicious Sunday roasts. Dog treats are on the house! They even organise a monthly dog walk.
The Fox Inn, Rudgwick. Idyllic pub set in the West Sussex Countryside serving a mix of English and Asian food. Boasting a large but cosy outside/inside seating area to the rear with animal furs and heaters this is the perfect spot for large groups and their four legged friends.
Altitude, Cranleigh. New and trendy coffee and cocktail spot in Cranleigh offering a relaxed but cool vibe. The perfect place to sit and watch the world go by with your four legged best friend. They even have a dedicated doggy treat zone. One to check out!
The Plucky Pheasant, Newlands Coner. A favourite amongst many dog owners and for good reason. This cafe offers a diverse and tasty menu, hitting the spot after a hilly walk along the north downs way. Make sure to try one of their cakes!
The Milk Churn, Rudgwick. The home of Sussex Charmer! If you haven't already - you must try the Sussex Charmer cheese on toast here, quite simply the best cheese on toast there is. They even have a dog wash outside so you can give your dog a nice wash down after their walk.
Stretched and Fired, Alfold. One word: PIZZA! If you love pizza you will love it here, their pizzas are fantastic. As well as being dog friendly it's also a fantastic spot for children with an enclosed playground just outside which is visible from the outdoor seating. One not to miss.
Amici Coffee Company, Horsham. Escape the hustle and bustle of Horsham high street and find tranquility, great coffee and a yummy bite to eat. This cafe has an upbeat and modern feel and dogs are made to feel most welcome.
Yangaz, Cranleigh. In our opinion the best spot for breakfast in the Surrey and Sussex borders. Dog friendly outside only, so check the weather before you travel. The Cranleigh Delicate breakfast is the one to have, enjoy!
Scarlett Arms, Walliswood. Everything an English village country pub should be. Open fire places, flagstone floors and a hearty menu. You are certain to see lots of four legged patrons. Check out the OS map for some beautiful surrounding walks, especially in bluebell season.
One 40, Cranleigh. Situated in the heart of Cranleigh High Street, offering a modern and healthy menu, think "breakfast favourites with a twist". Dog friendly outside to the front (check the weather first), it's a great spot to sit and watch the world go by or catch up with friends.
