Board and Train Residential Dog Training

Our fully licensed residential dog training (board and train dog training) offers dog owners an opportunity to fast track their dog's training journey.  Perhaps you are thinking about training and have a holiday coming up that isn't suitable for your four legged friend you may wish to tie in some intensive training with your break away?

What is residential dog training for?

Residential training is ideal for dogs facing behavioural issues such as nervousness, human aggression, recall problems, lead pulling, and dog reactivity. It is particularly beneficial for clients who have limited time to dedicate to the initial intensive training. This program offers an excellent way to fast-track progress toward achieving your training goals.

About the board and train programme and process:

Each residential dog training programme is bespoke to the dog and clients requirements.  Prior to booking for residential we see each dog for a 121 to assess suitability for the process and discuss an action plan with the owner.  Residential programmes are a minimum of 3 weeks, this is the time we have found is needed to form lasting improvement. Each day our owners are sent a video and text update on their dog's training progress.

Where will my dog stay?

We are delighted to welcome our clients dogs into our family home in Cranleigh on the Surrey/Sussex border where they live as part of the family for the duration of their stay.  Outside of their training our guest dogs (with their owners consent) have enjoyed activities such as: beach trips, doggy ice cream, trips to dog enrichment centres and swimming. We are proud of our facilities and welcome you to drop your dogs off to us so you can see where your best friend will be staying.

What happens when I get my dog back?

At the time of completion of your dog's bespoke residential training programme we provide a thorough handover session to equip you with the knowledge you need to maintain and further build upon the training given.  This session will cover the training your dog has received and provide you an opportunity to hands on train your dog with the new system under our guidance.  We also provide a thorough handover document listing the training given with instructions for you to refer back to.  Following on from the handover we are available for any questions you may have.
